Separate four questions
Ask what you intend to spend, what the campaign is configured to spend, what the account is permitted to accrue and what funding is actually available. Write the currency and time period beside every amount. A monthly figure and a daily figure cannot be compared without conversion.
Platform terminology matters. Google, for example, distinguishes average daily campaign budgets from account budgets used with monthly invoicing. Its average daily budget is not simply a fixed daily bill. Do not apply one platform’s controls or pacing rules to another without checking.
Read the actual interface before changing anything
Capture the campaign status, configured budget, date range, account balance or billing status and any displayed restriction. Note the exact text of the message. A campaign that spent little may be limited by demand, targeting, bids or eligibility rather than funding.
If the interface identifies a cap, determine whether it is set by an authorized account user, imposed by the platform or part of the supplier’s arrangement. Ask the responsible party about that specific constraint. Avoid changing several unrelated controls at the same time.
Use an example to expose the distinction
Suppose a team plans $100 per day, has $1,000 allocated to advertising and sees $20 spent yesterday. Those three numbers alone do not prove a $20 account limit. You still need the campaign settings, delivery status and any documented cap.
Equally, a larger available balance does not instruct a campaign to spend more. Funding enables payment; campaign settings and delivery conditions determine how advertising runs. Treat this as a diagnostic example, not a forecast for a real account.
Ask for measurable account capacity
When evaluating a supplier, ask for the current account-specific conditions and how changes are handled. A tier label or “high limit” slogan is not enough to plan cash flow. Distinguish documented current capacity from a hoped-for future increase.
- Which limit applies, in which currency and period?
- Who sets it and can request a change?
- What evidence confirms the current value?
- Which funding and payment conditions must be satisfied?
Choose the action that matches the finding
A funding discrepancy calls for reconciliation. A deliberate campaign budget calls for a budget decision. An eligibility issue calls for the relevant platform process. An account-specific capacity question belongs with the account owner or supplier.
Elite Ecom can discuss account arrangements and support. You manage your campaigns, and no universal spending ceiling or automatic increase is promised. Send the exact message and account context, without login secrets, when asking for help.
